I began my pilates journey in seek of something that would help the muscle tension in my shoulder and numbness I was getting in one of my legs from years of wear and tear in my career. I started at a place that had larger class sizes with varying abilities (which was perfect for me at the time). Soon, I found it difficult to grow and become better. At Pilates Achieved, Helen takes special care to work with your problem areas, help you improve your technique (which is insanely important) and she checks in at the start of every class to see how your body is feeling. I have began class with an area of tension and pain and left with much if not total relief. If you are curious about pilates or wanting to move to that next step, Pilates Acheived is your place. She offers varying class sizes, but not too big, so she can focus on each individual and be sure things are being done correctly, to avoid injury. Helen can pair you with someone of similar ability and while private classes are understandably a commitment, I can assure you, it has 100% been worth it for me. Helen will definitely challenge you if that is what you prefer but in a safe and achievable way. At 43, I have the strongest core I've ever had. Thank you Helen!
